About Me
Isabelle recently graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours Class 1) from the University of Newcastle. Isabelle completed a thesis on quality of life and social communication in school-aged children with mild hearing loss. Isabelle has clinical experience in various settings, including aged care, primary schools, acute hospitals, community health centres, and specialist clinics for voice, intelligibility and fluency. In addition, Isabelle has worked as an allied health assistant, empowering adolescents with neurological and developmental conditions to achieve independence through communication. Isabelle is passionate about enhancing communication and mealtime success, supporting individuals across the lifespan. Recently, Isabelle received the Tavistock Trust for Aphasia Student Prize for excellence in adult language rehabilitation. Isabelle is keen to support clients in reaching their goals and enhancing their quality of life as part of the amazing ORS team.
