Kate is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in coaching and disability support. Through her experience as a head swimming coach, she has developed essential leadership, communication, and team development skills. She is passionate about empowering individuals and helping them achieve their goals. In the last two years, Kate transitioned into the field of disability support and worked as a Disability Support Practitioner. Her empathetic nature and genuine care for others drive her to empower clients and improve their quality of life. Building trust, establishing rapport, and tailoring support strategies to individual needs has been key to her success. Kate's educational background complements her professional pursuits. She completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science at Newcastle University in 2021, gaining a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour and cognitive processes. She also completed her Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced (Honours) in August 2023, further enhancing her expertise in psychological assessment and intervention strategies. In addition to her professional commitments, Kate finds joy in reading a good book, socialising with friends and family, and maintaining an active lifestyle by going to the gym. These personal interests contribute to her versatility and enable her to relate deeply to others.
