About Me

Mitchell is a positive behaviour practitioner who thrives on supporting clients across the lifespan. With a Bachelor of Psychology from Edith Cowan University, Mitchell combines evidence-based psychological knowledge with a genuine warmth and adaptability that suits work with children, adolescents, adults and older people. Prior to working at ORS, Mitchell worked as a police officer in regional Western Australia, gaining valuable skills in crisis response, community engagement and culturally sensitive communication. This experience strengthened Mitchell’s commitment to safety, respect and practical problem-solving. Mitchell is passionate about embedding person-centred approaches into practice, tailoring supports to each individual’s strengths, preferences and goals. Mitchell is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and to empowering the family members, carers and wider networks who support them, believing that high-quality psychological and behavioural intervention can create meaningful, lasting change.
