Teresa graduated from Adelaide University with a Bachelor's and Honours degree in Psychological Science, followed by her Master's of Clinical Psychology at RMIT in 2023. Before joining the team at ORS, Teresa worked as a student provisional psychologist, allied health assistant, and volunteer. Teresa has worked with young children one-on-one, providing individualised counselling and support in various settings such as clinics, schools, childcare, and private homes. Teresa has gained valuable experience in case formulations and implementing interventions with a client-centred approach for children with learning, emotional, and social differences. Additionally, she predominantly works utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has explored elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Teresa believes every child has the potential to flourish with the proper support and understanding, and she is dedicated to helping them develop the skills they need to thrive in various aspects of life.
