We used to range of positive behaviour support strategies that focused on, understanding the underlying cause of his anxiety and working through that in order to make this the best experience for Arthur, each session was focused on a person centred approach, and Arthur responds really well to a fun, bubbly nature. 00:01:17:10 - 00:01:53:20 Erin Bowcock (Regional Manager for Positive Support - ORS) So in each session, right from the get go, came in with smiles and, lots of different fun games so that he would enjoy the session and actually comprehend the skills, behaviour support and the strategies that have been implemented. We have completely changed Arthur's life. I'm incredibly proud of the work that he's been doing. We've gone from Arthur not being able to communicate with anyone that he didn't know to being able to easily ask people questions and having the confidence to speak and talk about himself to people that he's never met before, which is a really amazing feat. 00:01:53:22 - 00:02:07:00 Arthur (NDIS Participant) It makes him feel better talking to people who before i couldn't speak too. I’ve made more friends now and i feel so much happier. 00:02:07:02 - 00:02:29:14 Erin Bowcock (Regional Manager for Positive Support - ORS) Following behaviour support services Arthur’s quality of life has improved quite significantly.
