Erene Thong is the General Manager of ORS Group - Dietetics. She holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s degree in Health Management and Leadership. With extensive experience in healthcare management and dietetics, including her tenure on a multidisciplinary stroke ward at The Canberra Hospital, private practice, residential aged care, corporate health, education, and the disability sector. She is a dynamic leader dedicated to advancing sustainable healthcare. Throughout the years, Erene has developed a strong focus on managing complex cases, particularly for complex disability client services. She advocates for the critical role dietitians play in creating culturally appropriate, client-centred recommendations that not only meet individual nutritional requirements but also provide practical and supportive advice for carers. Her work highlights the importance of these alignments to improve adherence and client outcomes. As a leader, Erene empowers her multisite team of dietitians to become proactive drivers of multidisciplinary team care, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based interventions for clients with diverse needs.
