Our Story
The history of ORS
ORS has been in the business of making a difference to people with disability and injuries for over 30 years! We provide a range of allied health and workplace rehabilitation services across key industries such as the NDIS, workers’ compensation, health, injury prevention and aged care.
Our service delivery is underpinned by clinically informed, evidence based and person-centred practices which empower others to reach their potential and achieve their goals.
Our story began in 1992, founded by Peter Scott as an organisation with a real passion for helping people in workplace rehabilitation. We grew quickly due to our focus on being client-centred and providing the highest level of service possible, something that was not typical of other organisations in the industry at the time.
We recognised that our people were our biggest asset early on, and attracted some very talented employees to the organisation with the same values and ambition to help more people. This resulted in us expanding across Australia.

In 2018, we recognised our strength had been having a team of allied health professionals that were working in workplace rehabilitation, including occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and rehabilitation counsellors. It was the perfect opportunity to build upon our strength and refocus in the area of providing wider allied health services.
