Jess is an experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist and is the Acting Regional Manager for Sydney at ORS. She is passionate about and thoroughly enjoys providing both operational and clinical guidance to the ORS Sydney team, and wider ORS, region. Working within the NDIS, Jess is experienced in navigating the complexities of community-based healthcare and values creating team environments where clinicians feel supported, connected, and confident to do their best meaningful work. Within her clinical realm, Jess has experience and a special interest in supporting neurodivergent infants, children, and young people across various settings, including clinics, kindergartens, schools, and home environments in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney in Australia. She aims to provide a neuroaffirming, individualised and holistic approach to therapy. Jess believes every child and their support networks are unique and works closely and collaboratively with them to understand best the child/young person's support needs and how to promote further functional engagement in meaningful daily tasks. She focuses on building lasting skills that encourage the child/young person and their support networks' confidence, growth, and overall skill development to support the child/young person best in navigating the world around them with greater ease. Jess is DIR FloorTime trained (101 and 201) and is interested in supporting neurodivergent children with self-care skills (specifically toileting).
