About ORS Corrimal

Our Illawarra psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians and behaviour support practitioners work with children, teens and adults at our Corrimal office. We see people across the northern Illawarra, including Bulli, Thirroul, Woonona, Fairy Meadow and Balgownie.

Our psychologists offer therapy, counselling and psychological assessments, including ADHD and autism assessments. You can see a psychologist for therapy and counselling under Medicare Better Access (opens in new tab) .

Our Illawarra dietitians, speech pathologists and occupational therapists can see you under a Medicare GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. Our dietitians can also see you under an Eating Disorder Plan.

ORS is a registered NDIS provider (National Disability Insurance Scheme). Our Corrimal office also offers Disability Employment Services, including Inclusive Employment Australia and NDIS Employment Supports. We welcome NDIS, privately funded and workers compensation referrals.

Who We Support

We support children, teens and adults with the day-to-day things that matter most.
Positive Behaviour Support practitioners meeting with carers as part of trauma-informed behaviour support for children in out-of-home care.

Depending on the service, this may include:

  • Building independence and daily living skills
  • Communication and swallowing
  • Managing emotions and mental wellbeing
  • Understanding and responding to behaviour
  • Eating and nutrition
  • Early childhood development
  • Taking part at home, school and in the community
  • Finding, keeping or returning to work

Where more than one service is involved, your clinicians work together around shared goals. For example, a child may see both a psychologist and a behaviour support practitioner.
