About Me
Catherine has experience as an Occupational Therapist working with a variety of people within the NDIS setting, including physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities, from paediatric to adult participants. As Catherine enters her second year as an Occupational Therapist, she is eager to continue learning new strategies, interventions, and methods to achieve the best possible participant outcomes. She is passionate about assisting all participants to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life by increasing their engagement in meaningful activities of daily living, including personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) and domestic tasks (cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping), school participation, community engagement and more. Catherine is compassionate, caring, and collaborative with her participants and implements a client and family-centred approach to assist participants in taking the lead in their wants, needs, and intervention.
