About Me
Megan has experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Ireland, Scotland and Australia in physical, mental health and rehabilitation sectors, in both inpatient and community settings with clients aged across the lifespan. This experience has included working with older adults on an acute Medicine of the Elderly ward, working with a diverse client group on both Trauma and Elective Orthopaedic wards, working with clients with long term goals in a Community Rehabilitation Hospital and working with clients with a broad range of mental health conditions in an acute Psychiatric Hospital. Megan is passionate about maintaining a holistic and person-centred approach. She prioritises building rapport with clients and those around them to ensure therapeutic interventions and assessments are specific and meaningful to the individual client and their goals. Megan is a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to engaging her clients to develop new skills, develop independence and work towards achieving goals which are important to them.
