About Me
Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist and General Manager - Psychology who is passionate about increasing the accessibility of psychology services to marginalised populations and supporting early career psychologists in developing their clinical competency. Sarah's primary focus is to ensure that all ORS psychologists feel confident, supported and well-resourced to provide their clients with the best possible care through leading a national psychology team, developing innovative resources and procedures, facilitating learning and development operationally and clinically, and remaining clinically informed by providing assessment and intervention services to her own client caseload. Sarah's experience includes providing psychology and positive behaviour support services spanning private, disability and out-of-home care sectors. Her clinical experience has centred on assessment, formulation and rehabilitation in hospital, forensic and community settings, thereby enhancing her skills in supporting diverse client presentations, including neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, complex trauma, personality disorders, psychosis and substance use. She is passionate about supporting fellow psychologists with upskilling in these areas to ensure quality psychological support remains accessible. Sarah has a keen interest in assessing the complexities of differential diagnoses and gender and cultural differences within neurodevelopmental disorders, and she provides peers consultation and training in facilitating comprehensive neuroaffirming assessments. Her additional interests also include conducting cognitive and complex mental health assessments, case conceptualisation, and supporting clients through their transitional pathways between secure and community settings.
