Mao is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia and hasworked extensively with paediatrics, adolescents and adults. She initially trained inproviding intervention to individuals with swallowing difficulties in hospitals and nursinghomes before transiting to providing intervention to children with disabilities in clinics,schools and the community. Mao has a passion for collaborating with her clients to achievetheir goals, helping families, and advocating for necessary changes and community basedsupport systems. She also has a keen interest in speech and language acquisition, anddevelopmental disabilities.
