About Me
Tanya is a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner and registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, and their families. Combining clinical expertise, applied research, and training experience, Tanya specialises in conducting and writing comprehensive assessments and person-centred behaviour support planning, and workforce capability-building to reduce harm and improve an individual's quality of life. Tanya is a registered psychologist with postgraduate qualifications in Counselling Psychology. She previously worked as a clinical psychologist at Ateneo de Manila University and Ateneo Bulatao Centre for Psychological Services, where she provided assessment, individual and family therapy, and behaviour support interventions. She engaged in clinical work with neurodivergent children and adolescents across community, outpatient, and school-based settings. These roles have deepened her clinical formulation skills and ability to translate research into accessible, practice-ready strategies for families and allied professionals. Her areas of focus include autism spectrum conditions, intellectual disability, mood disorders, and co-occurring mental health challenges. She has also engaged in research and program evaluation projects focused on counselling interventions and staff training efficacy.
