PACE

There is a lot of discussion regarding PACE, the NDIA’s newest electronic system. At ORS, we are at the forefront, having already helped numerous customers using the PACE system. We are completely equipped and ready for PACE! This article aims to explain the details of PACE and includes a comprehensive set of FAQs to address participants’ key queries.

How do I endorse ORS as Myprovider in PACE?

There are a few ways a participant or nominee can endorse ORS:

  • Contact the NDIA National Call Centre on 1800 800 110 and advise that you would like to endorse ORS as your Behaviour Support provider at a category level
  • Log into your PRODA portal and endorse ORS as your Behaviour Support provider at a category level
  • Contact your Local Area Coordinator to advise that you would like to endorse ORS as your Behaviour Support Provider at a category level.

When speaking to your Local area Coordinator or the NDIA, you may need to provide the following details (we recommend providing ORS’ provider number as this will identify us the fastest):

Business name: The ORS Group Pty Ltd

ABN: 24057733892

Provider Number: 405 0000 976

What is PACE?

The NDIA is introducing PACE as an upgrade from their old customer management system.

The primary objective of this new system is to enhance the NDIS experience for both participants and providers. It aims to deliver superior support to you, your family, and your carers, ensuring a more efficient and effective service.

When will PACE start?

The NDIA has planned the rollout of PACE over 18 months, commencing from the end of October 2023.

What do I need to do?

Starting from 30th October, existing participants who request or require changes to their plans will transition to the new PACE system.

Those with current plans undergoing scheduled reassessments who do not need any modifications will not shift to PACE until their next planned reassessment unless they require a plan change earlier. For new participants entering the scheme with their first NDIS plan, the PACE system will be implemented from 31st October onwards.

For participants using PACE, the NDIA is introducing a new support type that is relevant to your ORS servicing:

  • Behaviour Support (previously Improved Relationships)
