About Me
Alex is a qualified Occupational Therapist, having completed a GEM (OT) at Curtin University after completing a BSc in Sport Science and Exercise & Health at UWA. While studying his Masters, Alex worked as a community support worker for 3.5 years, supporting customers with their community access and social inclusion. Alex also has previous experience working in an aged care and hospital setting. Alex prides himself on his ability to connect with people of different walks of life with his sense of humour and positive attitude. He is passionate about delivering evidence based, person-centred practise to empower people to achieve their goals, become more independent, and improve their quality of life. Alex is also passionate about continuous professional development in order to deliver the best possible service to his clients and has an interest in home modifications and assistive technology.
