About Me
Alice is a Positive Behaviour Support practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychology and a major in Children and Family Studies. She has worked in Positive Behaviour Support for just over one and a half years, and during her degree gained valuable experience working within education support centres across both primary and secondary settings. In these environments, she engaged regularly with a wide range of personalities, disabilities, and support needs, and first developed a strong interest in individualised approaches when supporting children and adolescents. She has also built strong skills in community-based programs through roles that involved program assistance and developing new ideas. These experiences strengthened her ability to work collaboratively, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully within multidisciplinary and person-centred settings. Alice is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of behaviours, complexities, and disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She takes a trauma informed, person centred, and holistic approach, with a strong focus on tailoring supports to each person’s interests, preferences, and goals. She values working closely with families and support networks, and is committed to providing practical, compassionate support that helps create positive and lasting change.
