Alicia is a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support practitioner with an honours degree in Childhood Studies. Alicia is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential and live lives rich with choice and personal agency. Alicia brings a strong foundation of knowledge about developmental processes and how best to facilitate positive outcomes for children and families. Her diverse background includes roles as a Lead Childcare Practitioner and Teacher Support Assistant, where she worked closely with children and young people with autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities, fostering inclusive environments that promote growth and learning. In addition, Alicia has experience as a volunteer Family Support Worker managing complex cases, offering compassionate, tailored assistance to families navigating challenging circumstances. This breadth of experience has deepened her understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families, strengthening her commitment to collaborative, person-centred approaches. With a genuine love for helping others, Alicia is devoted to supporting people in ways that honour their voice and choice, working to create opportunities for meaningful engagement and improved quality of life.
