Since graduating in 2018, Althea has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the NDIS sector, managing a caseload of both adult and paediatric clients. Her primary focus has been on adults with physical disabilities, and she has a keen interest in supporting clients with both complex and minor home modifications, vehicle modifications, assistive technology, and housing supports. Althea’s broader experience includes helping clients access specialist equipment, including custom-built assistive technology, providing assistance and retraining for daily living activities, and supporting individuals in their transition to independent living. She is passionate about helping people achieve greater independence and integrate into their communities, bringing both energy and enthusiasm to her role.
