About Me
Amal is a Psychology (Honours) graduate with over three years of experience working with Autism and other developmental delays. Amal has followed program goals covering many different areas of development including speech, language, academic skills, functioning living skills and cognitive concepts. Amal has also followed a variety of behaviour intervention plans focused on reducing challenging behaviours and increasing the client's quality of life. Amal is committed to ensuring each client is able to achieve their full potential through evidence-based interventions and she is passionate about supporting each client through that process. Amal enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering for mental health campaigns and working closely with community organisations to provide free tutoring services for students from backgrounds of homelessness and/or domestic violence.
