Anthea is a dedicated Speech Pathologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) (Honours) from Curtin University and is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has gathered rich, rewarding experience across the lifespan in private practice, schools, hospitals, and within the NDIS, supporting people with a range of needs, including disability, vision impairment, neurological conditions, early intervention, voice disorders, and school‑based speech and language needs. She takes a person‑centred approach, delighting in the small and big breakthroughs her clients make. Driven by a love for helping others, she collaborates closely with clients and families to set meaningful goals and celebrates each step toward greater confidence and independence. Her passions and specialities include children’s speech, language and social skills development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and rehabilitation for stroke and Parkinson’s - areas where she finds deep fulfilment watching people rediscover their voices and abilities. With a culturally and linguistically diverse background, she speaks English and Vietnamese fluently and has learned the AUSLAN alphabet, which helps her connect warmly with a wide range of clients. Deeply committed to lifelong learning and evidence‑based practice, she fosters trust, open communication and active participation in therapy - always encouraging clients to engage, grow and take pride in their progress.
