About Me
Ariana is a registered psychologist and AHPRA supervisor with a passion for the person-centred and strengths-based practice. Ariana has had a varied career over the last 21 years, working in Juvenile Justice, NDIS, Occupational Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Care, and leadership roles. Training is another area of experience and interest including needs analysis, development and delivery, especially when linked with practice improvements and therapeutic or strategic frameworks. In private practice and psychology-based work, she is an eclectic practitioner, using ACT, CBT and DBT techniques primarily to assess, treat, and to provide behaviour support services. Ariana's particular professional strengths are related to mood disorders, substance abuse, childhood trauma, chronic complex trauma, and skills development. With a strong history of delivering change in learning goals, skills development and wellbeing, Ariana brings analytical and problem-solving skills to develop reflective and deliberate practice opportunities for continual improvement towards best practices in mental health.
