About Me
Daniel is a passionate Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner who believes in the importance of person-centred and tailored approaches to supporting psychosocial wellbeing. He is currently completing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Paediatrics at the University of Western Australia and the Kids Research Institute, where his research focuses on MECP2 duplication syndrome, an ultra-rare genetic disorder marked by behavioural issues. He is also currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Edith Cowan University. Daniel's extensive academic background is complemented by his experience as an Education Consultant with The World Bank, where he improved secondary teaching quality in the Pacific. Daniel's passion for rare disease research, education, and clinical practice motivates him to contribute meaningfully to the ORS team with a deep commitment to advancing health outcomes. His collaborative approach, demonstrated through his experience in multidisciplinary teams and leadership roles, enables him to support clients and their stakeholders effectively, as well as his colleagues. His unique combination of research expertise and hands-on clinical experience positions him to deliver innovative, evidence-based solutions within ORS.
