Empathy-led, people-focused and passionate about creating meaningful change through employment. With experience across aged care, including supporting people living with dementia, recruitment, human resources and leadership, I bring a unique combination of compassion, communication, relationship-building and practical problem-solving to community services. My experience in aged care taught me the importance of empathy, patience and person-centred support, particularly when people are navigating complex or difficult circumstances. Through recruitment and human resources, I developed strong communication and relationship-building skills, while learning how to understand individual strengths, identify opportunities and solve problems effectively. Leadership further strengthened my ability to support different personalities, build trust and bring out the best in individuals and teams. Having recently completed my Certificate IV in Community Services, I am now focused on building a career where I can combine these experiences to help people achieve meaningful employment outcomes. I believe employment has a profound impact on a person’s life. It can promote independence, build confidence, strengthen social connection and contribute significantly to overall wellbeing, identity and sense of purpose. My goal is to empower people to recognise their strengths, overcome barriers and move towards a future where they feel valued, capable, connected and supported.
