Dro has over four years of experience working across government-funded employment services, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds to move towards sustainable employment. They have worked across programs, including Self-Employment Assistance, Career Transition Assistance, and Employability Skills Training, giving them a strong understanding of different pathways into work. They have supported individuals facing a range of challenges, including those experiencing mental health barriers, and focus on building genuine trust from the start. Their experience spans both client support and leadership roles, where they have guided participants through the full journey from initial engagement through to outcomes. Dro is known for their calm and empathetic approach. They take the time to listen and understand each person’s situation. Their work is grounded in meeting people where they are and helping them take practical, manageable steps forward. Now working as an Inclusive Employment Specialist, Dro supports participants living with mental health challenges to build confidence, explore suitable opportunities, and move towards employment in a way that fits their circumstances. They are currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Human Services, continuing to build on their knowledge and commitment to supporting people in a meaningful way.
