About Me
Emma is a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support practitioner with a strong passion for working with adolescents and young people, particularly those with neurodivergence. Her interest in prevention, empowerment and wellbeing led her to complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion), reflecting her commitment to supporting people through education, early intervention and inclusive practice. Emma brings five years of experience as a disability support worker, alongside experience in the mental health sector and as a community engagement officer at a headspace mental health centre. Across these roles, she has developed a collaborative and compassionate approach, with a focus on building respectful, trusting relationships that promote choice, independence and inclusion. With lived experience of neurodivergence and experience supporting people with mental health challenges, Emma offers a thoughtful and person-centred perspective to her work. She is committed to creating safe, supportive environments where young people feel understood, empowered and supported to thrive.
