Joseph holds a Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's in Psychological Science. Bringing experience in the mental health field since 2021. Joseph has primarily worked in acute mental health hospital settings, where he nursed on the ward and facilitated group therapy for individuals facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and addiction. Joseph has experience in evidence-based modalities such as Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and has also had experience working with men’s mental health talk groups. Joseph practices building strong, trust-based relationships and is committed to trauma-informed care, empowering individuals throughout their recovery journey.
