About Me
Lachlan is studying for his Master's in Clinical Psychology and is set to graduate at the end of 2025. Lachlan has completed one placement so far and is about to start his subsequent placement in July. He became interested in studying the mind when he was in high school and went on to study his bachelor's in psychology upon completing year 12. Lachlan is deeply passionate about psychology because it explores human behaviour, thought patterns, and emotions in a way that can genuinely transform lives. That unique balance of science and empathy, utilising the ability to use evidence-based approaches to support real people through real challenges. Whether it's helping someone manage anxiety, navigate trauma, or simply feel heard, Lachlan is motivated by the chance to make meaningful, lasting change. Lachlan has done work experience using cognitive behavioural therapy alongside an occupational therapist with children and adolescents. He also contributed to a research article identifying the impact of apathy and fatigue on academic functioning among mature university students, which is currently being sourced for publication.
