About Me
Mateo is a provisional psychologist from Argentina who brings diverse experiences and a proactive approach to the field. Focused on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), neuroscience, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), he has navigated sub-acute clinical settings in remote areas, addressing complex mental health disorders early in his career. Mateo's expertise extends to working with clients across the lifespan facing conditions such as depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, and drug abuse, among others. Additionally, he contributed to the education field, addressing the needs of children with learning difficulties and emotional disturbances. Believing in a holistic client care approach, Mateo emphasises active listening and a non-Judgemental demeanour. As part of his training, he acquired expertise in CAMS-care, a tool contributing towards zero suicides. Mateo's commitment to community well-being is evident through past volunteer work at El Bosque rehabilitation program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eager to absorb knowledge and experiences, Mateo actively seeks opportunities to craft a successful and impactful career in mental health. He offers a dynamic blend of cultural richness, focused expertise, and a proactive learning approach.
