About Me
Ming is a clinical psychologist and board-approved supervisor, who completed a M. Psych (Clinical) from James Cook University. Clinically, Ming has extensive experience in psychological assessments and treatment planning for developmental disorders (Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities), as well as child and adult psychopathologies (mood / anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PTSD). In his previous role, Ming had managed a team of clinical supervisors and provided principal supervision to provisional psychologists. Prior to this, Ming had worked as a school psychologist (Kindergarten to Year 12) as well as in a community mental health organization. Currently, he provides psychological services in a private medical specialist clinic, with a team of psychiatrists, paediatricians, and other health professionals. As a clinical supervisor, Ming has an unwavering dedication to teaching and training the next generation of psychologists. As a practitioner, Ming is dedicated to providing the best quality of care and services for people from all walks of life. He believes strongly in the early intervention approach and in evidence-based practices. In his free-time, Ming is completing his PhD in Psychology. His area of research is on Emotional Intelligence. He has published several research papers on emotional intelligence, brain training, and cognitive abilities.
