About Me
Nicola is a speech pathologist at ORS with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master's in Speech Language Pathology. Entering her fourth year of practice, Nicola has experience working in schools, preschools and in Telehealth settings. Nicola specialises in paediatric speech, sound, and language therapy; early language intervention using the Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk” program; social communication support for neurodiverse teenagers and adults; and functional language therapy for neurodiverse teenagers and adults. She regularly conducts speech, language and social communication assessments to inform tailored intervention plans. Nicola is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice, prioritising clients’ autonomy and working collaboratively to ensure their goals and preferences guide therapy. She adopts a holistic approach, partnering with multidisciplinary teams, workplaces and educators to understand the whole person and achieve meaningful outcomes. Nicola consults from ORS’s Lane Cove clinic and services the surrounding suburbs. She is dedicated to family-centred, evidence-based care and empowering clients and carers with practical strategies to support communication development.
