Samantha is a Speech Pathologist with more than 12 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents and adults with communication and swallowing needs. She has worked in private practice, community and school settings, and previously ran her own practice. She is passionate about helping children and young people build the communication skills they need to participate confidently in everyday life. Her clinical interests include language and literacy, fluency, and feeding. She also has extensive experience in mealtime support, AAC, autism and acquired communication difficulties. Samantha takes a practical, evidence-based and person-centred approach. She works collaboratively with participants, families, educators and other professionals to develop strategies that are meaningful and easy to use in everyday life. She also enjoys mentoring Speech Pathologists and supporting university students on placement.
