About Me

With a strong academic foundation, Shruthi completed a Bachelor of Psychology at The University of Western Australia before undertaking Honours studies at Monash University. Her academic training has provided a comprehensive grounding in human behaviour, developmental psychology, and evidence-based practice, which she applies within her role as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has a particular interest in youth mental health, early intervention, and the developmental trajectories of children and adolescents. She is committed to the principle that early, compassionate, and individualised intervention can facilitate meaningful and enduring improvements in wellbeing for both individuals and their families. Her prior experience as a Behavioural Technician supporting children with autism, alongside her work in mental health support settings, has informed a highly empathetic, structured, and person-centred clinical approach. These roles have further developed her understanding of emotional regulation, neurodevelopmental differences, and the importance of establishing safe, consistent, and therapeutic relationships to support behavioural change. Through the integration of academic knowledge and applied clinical experience, she brings a reflective and evidence-informed approach to practice. She is motivated by the goal of empowering individuals to develop greater confidence, independence, and quality of life through collaborative and strengths-based support.
