Sonia is a creative and enthusiastic occupational therapist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the Australian Catholic University. She has worked with people across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospital, and community settings.  Having been a support worker for many years, Sonia understands the importance of person- and family-centred care. She values close collaboration with individuals, their families, support networks and healthcare professionals. She enjoys supporting clients in a range of goal areas, including activities of daily living, equipment and assistive technology, and environmental access. Sonia has a special interest in working with clients with pelvic health concerns, including continence, sexuality, gender, pregnancy and post-partum. 
Sonia continues to conduct research work and enjoys partnering with people with lived experience to facilitate authentic and relevant research.
