Can I be seen at home or by Telehealth?
Yes, depending on the service and your circumstances. We can see you at our Gosford clinic, in your home, out in the community or by Telehealth, though not every service is available in every format. We will confirm what is available when you enquire.
Does ORS Gosford work with children as well as adults?
Yes. Our Gosford child psychologists work with children and teens, and our psychologists also see adults. They work alongside our speech pathologists and occupational therapists. Our psychologists also provide ADHD and autism assessments, and our Key Worker Early Childhood Supports service is specifically for young children.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
Not always. You do not need a referral to get in touch. Privately funded and many NDIS clients can book directly by calling 1800 000 677 or enquiring online.
For Medicare psychology sessions under Better Access, you need a mental health treatment plan (opens in new tab) and referral from your GP, or a referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician. Medicare occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics sessions need a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan.
