Inclusive Employment
Inclusive Employment
Inclusive Employment Australia – Mental Health Specialist
At ORS, we help people living with mental health conditions (psychosocial disability) prepare for, find and keep meaningful work—while helping employers build inclusive, high-performing teams. We’ve delivered allied health, psychology, workplace rehabilitation and employment services for 30+ years across WA, NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and TAS.
Available across 15 locations across Australia starting 1st November 2025
People with psychosocial disability are about half as likely to be employed as those without disability. A specialist, evidence-based service is essential—and that’s what we provide.
What makes ORS different?
We provide on-the-job coaching, job redesign, additional training and customised support for clients requiring this support and as guided by Ongoing Support Assessments.
Evidence that works
Our service is grounded in Individual Placement & Support (IPS)—the global gold standard for mental health employment. ORS staff contributed to this evidence with three peer-reviewed IPS studies (2016, 2017, 2019) and 120+ publications.
Proven outcomes
In Disability Employment Services, our IPS approach achieved higher job placements and 26-week outcomes than traditional models. Historically we’ve achieved 22,000 + job placements.
Scale & capability
We currently support 6000+ people with mental health conditions through 130+ Psychologists and 250+ Behaviour Support Practitioners within the NDIS.
Integrated allied health
Fast access to allied health supports plus strong links with local mental health services and community organisations.

How our IPS model works (Simple Steps)
We build rapport and understand vocational goals, strengths, and non-vocational barriers and work capacity. Together we set your Job Plan, goals, contact frequency, activities and preferred communication.
We ensure all jobs, hours, locations and supports are guided by your goals, strengths, culture and preferences.
We work in partnership with your supports to help you achieve your goals, where we have your consent.
We provide practical training and support in work-readiness, building confidence, disclosure training, resumé/applications, interview skills, arranging short courses/licences, organising work observations and volunteering.
We engage employers as guided by you through direct contact and via our network to create and customise roles to your preferences and needs. We train employers in mental health awareness, neurodiversity and inclusive practice.
We provide on-the-job coaching, problem-solving and help with any adjustments required. Our aim is to build skills and experiences that help you to achieve a career not just a job.
