About Me
Amanda has over 10 years of experience in dietetics working in a number of healthcare settings including private practice, medical centres, aged care and disability and has also been involved with researching and writing plant-based nutrition programs at a public health level. Amanda has experience providing evidence-based nutrition care for many health issues including sustainable weight management, type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), Irritable bowel disease (BS), gastrointestinal issues, malnutrition, food allergies and intolerances, kidney disease and disability. Amanda is passionate about working with her clients to help them achieve their health goals and bring about long lasting, positive health changes. Amanda understands how important good nutrition is and how food can be used as medicine to prevent, treat and manage common lifestyle diseases. As a Mum of 3 young kids, Amanda also recognises that this can often be challenging given our busy lifestyles. As such, Amanda strongly believes in providing patient centred care and takes the time to listen to and work with clients to develop sustainable lifestyle changes that will work for them and make healthy eating simple.
