About Me
Anna is a Registered Psychologist and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner with ORS. Anna has held several positions at ORS and has proudly led the Victorian Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners team since 2024. Anna has many years of experience working with children involved with Child Protection Services, Youth Justice and participants with complex mental health. Anna has previously worked within the youth justice system and community organisations with children and young people who have experienced complex trauma, children who have developmental delays, mental health diagnoses and engaging in complex problematic behaviours. She also has experience administering psychological assessments and working with clients with communication difficulties. Anna excels at building rapport and trust with all parties, understanding the causes of challenging behaviours, and working with families and support teams to develop practical, effective strategies. She has extensive experience with complex clients, including those with forensic backgrounds or histories of trauma and abuse. Anna is highly skilled in person-centred and trauma-informed care. She is also passionate about helping young people with disabilities reach their potential, risk management and training and mentoring other Behaviour Support Practitioners.
