About Me
Annabelle is a Registered Psychologist with specialist endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. She completed a PhD thesis at the University of Western Australia, aiming to understand the cognitive underpinnings of emotional regulation in adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Annabelle has experience working with individuals of various ages, as well as clinical presentations and backgrounds. Over the past few years, she has been involved in the development of a program focused on facilitating the reintegration of adults with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) into employment following their involvement within the justice system. She has also worked within a specialised, multidisciplinary setting, providing assessment services for children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental and mental health presentations. As part of her work, Annabelle aims to understand the client’s unique trajectory and experiences that have led to their ongoing presentation. She also focuses on differential diagnosis for clients with multifaceted presentations and needs. Annabelle’s passion lies in using the knowledge she gains from her assessments to empower and support her clients in their quest to meet their goals and live a fulfilling life. To achieve this, she values working closely with the client and their immediate support networks. She also enjoys delivering psychoeducation sessions and workshops to clients, carers, clinicians and community members. Annabelle is multilingual, and she speaks French, Mauritian Creole, and English.
