Elter is a Registered Psychologist and Psychology Clinic Manager in Western Australia, with extensive experience in counselling and behaviour support services for children, young people, and adults. He is committed to delivering evidence-based treatment and client-centred approaches, aiming to support clients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
Elter specializes in creating tailored interventions and treatment plans that cater to individual client presentations and needs. His clinical expertise spans a range of areas, including traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. He is adept at working with clients of all ages, from paediatric to adult populations, who are experiencing challenging behaviours and conditions. Elter incorporates a variety of psychological-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Therapy, to effectively address and manage his clients' diverse therapeutic needs.
