About Me
Emily has over 8 years experience working with people with disabilities, specialising in working with children and youth with challenging behaviours. Emily is a diploma qualified Youth Worker and is currently in her final year of her degree in Social Science Child and Community. Emily has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including facilitating behaviour programs for young people who have come from the juvenile justice system and are struggling in the school environment. As well as implementing PBS programs in the home, at school and out in the community, to participants aged 2-65. Emily is a calm, empathetic person who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities to gain independence using a participant focused and trauma-informed approach. Emily strongly values learning and development, and is always striving to grow her knowledge in disabilities, behaviour support and Psychology.
