Emma is a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with 15 years of lived experience supporting children and young people with comorbid diagnoses and 7 years of professional experience working with children and young people across multiple academic settings and roles, supported by a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and DipEd & Care, having a special interest in Early childhood and Early Intervention. Her role involves developing and implementing personalised support plans and strategies to enhance an individual's quality of life. Working in varied roles, Emma has had the opportunity to promote inclusive practices that honour and celebrate diverse backgrounds, fostering a true sense of belonging for all individuals. She is passionate about advocating for and implementing strategies, acknowledging each participant's unique strengths, and ensuring all feel valued and supported. Emma aims to build her client's capabilities and capacities, creating safe environments where diverse perspectives are recognised and celebrated, nurturing self-esteem, and assisting clients to refine their current skills to achieve their goals with confidence while building resilience. As a lifelong learner, Emma is passionate about continuous learning, constantly striving to develop her knowledge and skills around Positive Behaviour Support and Psychology.
