About Me
About Me
Fi has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Arts and a Master’s of Special Education, with over 14 years in special education and experience with supporting individuals with a range of disabilities, including intellectual, physical and autism spectrum disorder. Fi has worked with students across a variety of educational settings and specifically with students that experience emotional disturbance and behavioural disorders. Fi has a passion for person-centred, individualised approaches, in behaviour support. Fi is a strong advocate for equitable access and providing intervention opportunities that increases autonomy for clients to improve their quality of life and those supporting that person. Fi is dedicated to ensuring that quality best practice approaches are implemented and participates in the broader community talking and participating with charity and support groups about how and where supports can be accessed specifically for those with Down Syndrome.
