About Me
For several years, Jess worked in schools, assisting adolescents with additional needs to complete their school work. Additionally, Jess provided support to students dealing with mental health challenges such as anxiety and bullying, ensuring they received the appropriate attention and care required. Jess is deeply committed to helping others, particularly those experiencing mental health challenges. Jess believes preserving mental health is just as vital as maintaining physical health. Jess works to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness by encouraging people to seek regular therapy, practise mindfulness and meditation, journal, and above all, speak up! In 2021, Jess joined Liptember in raising funds for Women's Mental Health. Jess has recently completed a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences and is now enrolled in an honours program to continue her education and become a registered Psychologist. Jess has been working as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner for 12+ months and is thoroughly enjoying her time and experience working with a diverse range of clientele of all different age groups.
