About Me
Maree completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Psychological Science degree (Honours) at Australian Catholic University, and her Master's degree in Educational and Developmental psychology at the University of Melbourne. She is currently enrolled in our Educational and Development registrar program. Maree has experience in conducting cognitive assessments to determine the presence of intellectual disability/delay, and diagnosing learning disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. Maree also has experience counselling children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, and gender issues. Since joining ORS, Maree is pleased to expand her diagnostic skills in Autism and ADHD in children and adults. Maree's pet passion is working with autistic children diagnosed with Pathological Demand Avoidance. In addition to the above, Maree has a passion for working with clients from a trauma background, including Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Lastly, Maree is a keen advocate for her clients in the education setting and regularly completes psychoeducation sessions with wellbeing leaders and Assistant Principals in Primary and Secondary schools throughout Victoria.
