About Me
Nikytta is a provisional psychologist with experience working in the workplace rehabilitation industry and private practice. She has worked with adults recovering from physical and psychological injury or illness and has experience providing both assessment and intervention to adults with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Nikytta loves having the ability to really help someone. It gives her overwhelming pride and a sense of real accomplishment when she sees her clients achieving the goals they set out to achieve. Nikytta has a passion for neuropsychology and understanding how neurological pathways influence behaviour. Nikytta has conducted research for over three years, looking at how the circadian cycles in our eyes can influence melatonin release and sleep behaviour. She has also looked into the effects of blue light on our eyes and how this affects our sleeping patterns. She has had the privilege to publish an abstract and present at an internal conference for vision science.
