About Me
Saisha is a registered behaviour support practitioner who is passionate about helping her clients achieve a high quality of life. She completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science from UNSW and Psychology Honours from Bond University, achieving a First in Class for Clinical Psychology. In her three years of work experience as a therapy assistant she worked with children and families at home, in schools and in the community. She has experience supporting young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Neurodevelopmental delay, emotion-regulation and various mental health presentations. She uses a person-centred approach with her clients, focusing on their strengths and ensuring they feel heard, validated, well-supported and empowered. Her openness to learning helps her use scientific, evidence-based practices for behaviour support and implementation plans which are tailored to her clients’ unique needs. Her research focused on positive parent-child interactions by improving parental mental health and emotion-regulation.
