About Me
Samantha is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, registered with Dietitians Australia, graduating with both a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as a Bachelor of Science majoring in Nutrition and Metabolism. Samantha has experience working in the disability setting, ranging from paediatric caseloads, inclusive of fussy eating and other feeding difficulties, as well as in the adults and older adults setting, enjoying the variety that her caseload includes. Samantha is skilled in navigating medically and socially complex cases with clients, often facing various mental health issues. In addition to this, Samantha has extensive experience working in prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Samantha is passionate about working with clients to manage their nutrition needs through evidence-based intervention, working with their preferences to tailor advice to each individual. She is a strong advocate for listening to what is important to her clients and working collaboratively to create healthy lifestyle change that is sustainable. Samantha uses her combination of qualifications to support clients' relationship with food, improve their mindset and move towards a happier, healthier and full life. Samantha also works as an Early Childhood Key Worker through the NDIS Early Childhoods pathway, working holistically with children and their families to foster growth, development and confidence during the most critical early years. Samantha has also completed training in Positive Behaviour Support to support her expertise in this transdisciplinary space. Samantha is particularly driven by the joy of seeing children reach their potential, whether navigating complex feeding challenges, supporting sensory processing needs, or building confidence and reinforcing positive behaviour through play-based therapy.
