About Me
Sayumi is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Canberra. Sayumi is passionate about supporting children with a range of communication difficulties including speech, fluency, language, social communication, and literacy. Sayumi has experience with supporting the communication skills of paediatric clients from infancy to adolescence, and enjoys getting to know her clients to tailor therapy to their individual goals and interests. Sayumi is committed to keeping herself up to date with research which would allow her to provide evidence-based interventions while she continues to expand her clinical skills and learning. Sayumi believes in the importance of a supportive, comfortable, fun, and positive environment to help children thrive and learn in her sessions. Sayumi values working collaboratively with the client, their family, and other important professionals in the client's life to ensure maximum support and progress for the client.
