About Me
Wendy has extensive experience working with a range of children and adolescents across the lifespan to improve their quality of life through a person-centred and humanistic approach. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science Degree and worked extensively as an Applied Behavioural Therapist with children and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder to develop their essential life skills. Wendy draws on her experience as a parent herself with a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and is passionate to support families for positive outcomes. Wendy's ability, passion and dedication to people with disabilities have shown to be successful due to advanced changes in quality psychological intervention in their lives making a difference. Wendy's empathy and personal experience have enabled Wendy to have both a professional and personal view approach to people with disabilities and have a greater understanding of life. Wendy has a strong focus on and commitment to assisting children and adults to improve their mental well-being. Wendy's experience through an internship at Swinburne University Babylab research centre has further enhanced her knowledge through the exploration of the developmental areas of children and adolescents.
